Layer by Layer: Greenview Living Room

A room always reveals itself over time. Creating a warm space takes layers and layers of furniture and textiles and objects and lighting for it to feel just right. There are dominant features that inform certain decisions and subordinate features that allow a room to have an element of surprise. I always tell my clients that I don’t wave a magic wand and reveal a house with a 2to5 Design ‘look’. Each project and space is as unique and personal as the people inhabiting it. This project was no exception.  I love looking back at how this room slowly layered until it was perfectly right for this wonderful family. Favorite elements include the ABC Carpet and Home mirror, the Oscar Isberian Moroccan rug, the Circa Lighting pendant, and the leather chair from Jayson Home and Garden.
