Before and After: Glencoe Traditional

Every once in a while a project comes along that is seemingly perfect.  It has warm, wonderful clients; a home with great bones in a beautiful setting; and an achievable task –  to breathe life into neglected rooms and re-imagine a client’s traditional style. The project below had all of the above. We began by shopping the house, saving where we could and spending where we should. We filled rooms with custom pieces from showrooms like Mike Bell as well as retail furniture from Restoration Hardware and vintage stores. We updated the color palette and added warmth and style to match the homeowners’ personalities. And in the end, we achieved a significant transformation but one in which the homeowners were still very much present and visible.  It was a true collaboration and a beautiful experience all around.
