The Easy-Peasy Kitchen Makeover
The only way to describe this kitchen when we started working with our client was dated, sad and unattractive. The kitchen was builder-grade and lacked the attention to detail that a homeowner would pay when making selections. The cabinets were maple with chrome hardware, there was no backsplash and really no style. But tearing it up and starting from scratch was not an option. So we embarked on the easy-peasy (and pocket-friendly) kitchen makeover. We started by painting the cabinets Benjamin Moore’s Cloud Cover, a top five favorite white. We added 3×6 white subway tile from Tile Outlet, changed the hardware to a classic bin pull style from Restoration Hardware, updated the faucet to a more contemporary style from Efaucets, and added a beautiful roman shade with Zimmer + Rohde fabric from John Rosselli. Lastly, we styled with warm wood baskets and a cutting board from Cost Plus and voila! A major improvement for minimum bucks.
